Summary
A continuous murmur was heard in a 47-year-old woman with Lutembacher syndrome. Trans-esophageal and intra-operative Doppler echocardiography revealed the murmur originating from the accelerated blood flow passing through the small atrial septal defect. This is the first reported case of a continuous murmur in Lutembacher syndrome analyzed by Doppler echocardiography.
